The baby daddy thing caught me off guard for sure!! Glad to see this topic being revisited again. Also Fiona’s Twitter fiasco seems to be moving too fast, but I liked the emotion still. Zig’s plot is believable and good so far. I want to see where that ends up.
I think it’s one of those moments on Degrassi where humor is mixed with emotions in a plot because the message of it all is Zig trying to deal with Cam’s suicide and making up for letting his emotions control him in trashing Madame’s car. Plus, I know it’s weird how most of the Latest Buzz cast is appearing on Degrassi and the boys from that show ironically know how to mix seriousness and humor in an episode as we’ve seen with Dallas, Eli, and Jake.
I wish that the “Dallas is a Father” plot wasn’t entangled with “Dallas wants to date Alli”. The fact that he’s a teen dad who’s been a dead-beat thus far and is now stepping it up is so interesting on it’s own! The issue of being a teen dad and trying to date could come up later. Feels like wasted opportunities to me.
